About

Betty is an illustrator, designer and linocut artist born in France, now living and working in England. She explores her work through a wide range of media with her passion for drawing as the common thread of all her pieces.

After completing a Masters in Visual Media Design, and a career in graphic design, she moved to England in 2013 where her illustration practice developed into her principal activity.

Betty is influenced by traditional Japanese woodblock art, early twentieth century poster artists and designs from likes of William Morris, Josef Frank and Marimekko. Her inspiration is found in History, Nature and the world around us.
